Welcome to the New Local 21 Website

We’re excited to introduce our newly designed website, built to serve both the public and our Local 21 members. This site is intended to be a central hub of information, providing insight into the work we do, the history of our union, and the resources available to our members. Whether you’re looking for updates on Local 21 events, information about our committees, or general knowledge about the longshore industry, we hope this site proves to be a valuable tool.

This website is a work in progress, designed and maintained by Local 21 members, for Local 21 members—not by a professional web agency. Because of this, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to develop and improve the site. Our goal is to make it as informative, functional, and user-friendly as possible, but as with any new project, there may be areas that need fine-tuning.

Member Registration & Verification

A and B registered members of Local 21 are welcome to register on this site to access members-only tools, resources, site features, and announcements.

Please note, the members section is not complete and will be a work-in-progress, built out over time.

To maintain the security and integrity of our site, all user registrations will be manually reviewed and approved after being cross-referenced with our internal Local 21 membership lists. As part of this process:

• We ask for your Local 21 registration number to help verify that you are an active member.
• We ask for your phone number for additional verification purposes, as well as for potential future site updates, text alerts, or reminders regarding union events and announcements.

Because this verification process is handled manually by our team, please be patient as we confirm each registration request. This extra step ensures that only verified Local 21 members have access to member-exclusive content while keeping our online space secure.
